Cut and planed from original Victorian principal or baulk timbers, we commonly yield boards around 200 mm wide x 20 mm thick and normally tongue and grooved.
Pitch Pine (Pinus Palustris) is a very specific pine and should not be confused with other pines used in the domestic building programmes from the 18th century up to the War. Pitch pine is heavier and more resinous than other options with colour variation and some resin bleed.
