Pine Roof Boarding

Roof boarding or close boarding, is commonly reclaimed from the inside of Victorian warehouse roofs. This was more rustic grade of pine generally with larger knots and more variation in colour than floorboards. Contamination may have occurred from bitumen based sheeting applied over it, and a multitude of felt nails were also used. This produces a darker more characterful option which can be available in many widths and thicknesses.
